If you are clicking on a desktop shortcut , simply right click on that shortcut , select properties and choose 'open file location'.
This leaves you in a New Windows explorer window sitting on Battlefield.exe , right click on the .exe itself and you should be able to 'run as administrator' to test things out.
You can also right click directly on the .exe , choose 'properties' , choose the 'compatibility' tab and set 'launch as administrator' , if you are on a win 7 or win 10 it may be necessary to also check 'run this program in compatibility mode for.."
I run in compatibility mode for XP service pack 3.
