Time to start grasping for straws:
Have you installed anything, and I mean ANYTHING that is Magnetic, electro-magnetic, or could just plain interfere with the signal of the lines in your house?
Or, have you bumped, moved, kicked, slapped, Spilled beer on anything network related? (modem, cable, RJ-45 connector, router) ?

Just before doing this I tried to get on the server and was pinging about 75... thats still ok for me to play normally, yet I'll still had people teleporting all over the place. My movement was smoth from my point of view and after asking, everyone told me they werent lagging...
Here are my laptop specs:
Mobile AMD Athlon 64 3400+CPU
1024MB (512 x 2) DDR-400PC-3200 Memory
Mobility 128MB ATI Radeon 9700 Pro
80GB 5400rpm ATA-100 HArd Drive
Notes: I havent uninstalled/installed anything on my laptop before or after this problem started occuring (this past Friday night). I havent dropped/spilled anything on my laptop or the modem/mouse ever. But, I have spoken very harsh words at my laptop over the weekend.
My computer was running fine in the server for a couple of weeks since I started playing here with normally a ping of 40-60 with the occational bad day of 70's with HPBers playing. MIRV camp over to my crib and we both played on moongamer w/ a router fine - no porblems. When he left he took the router with him and I played fine for prolly 6-7 hours fine on the server this past Friday. Then I took a break (for about 5 mins =D )and when I connected again this crap started to happen. My ping has still been what appears to be 'normal' (40-60's) yet everyone teleports around while I still run through the maps as I would under normal cirvumstances. Upon connecting to other CS:S servers, I have noticed the same thing happening on 3 others, but mostly everything runs fine with great ping and no lag on my end.
I have called my isp and trouble-shooted with them. Everything is is ok on our end. So I am concluding that the routing between me and the server somewhere is borked-up somwhere. Yet, my trace was all good when I first posted about this problem (see my initial post on page 1) and still is. WTF is going on??? I have performed spybot/ad-aware/norton/windows updates and scans, even done a defrag. Still the problem persists.
Please help. I r teh 1337 n3wb when it comes to computerish, moongamers is the only 41 player server that is well policed and has good ping without additional handcuffs (ie. no awp or automatic team select servers). I'm losing my mind without my daily moongamer dose. Ok, please excuse me, I have to return to yelling at my screen again.

I'm just teasing.
Damn, I just thought of this:
You said that your ping goes south later in the evening, right?
And you reset your modem every morning, right?
So, how's the area around the modem? Is there anything nearby that might be causing it to get a little warm, or overheat @ all?
And, just as an added kick, there's no flourescent lighting next to your modem is there? I've seen flourescent lights doo strange things to monitors, but modems might also be affected.
If anyone else has any ideas, feel free to jump in here.

No, my ping is crappy ALL day/weekend long since Friday night (and still continues now), my ping 'seems' ok (displaying 40-60) yet everyone is not lagging and I am seeing everyone teleport around. My modem is about 2 feet from my laptop and about 4 feet from my LCD TV, the exact same place it has been since I first started playing here with no problems...I'm just teasing.

Oh yeah, there are no extraneous programs running when I try to play...

If this helps any, I've been running net_graph 1 and usually when I'm not seeing people teleport around my in is around 350-500 but in moongamers with all the lag I'm seeing it jump from around 1800's all the way up to 2800's!

I know...Ok my ping doesnt just get bad at night. It happens just whenever. No lighting. My router is out in the open, so its nice and cool. My modem is the same way. I think im just gonna have to go off on my isp and get them to fix the thing. Because my um, my ah....business, yeah business needs the internet....

I also just deleted the local CS:S game account from within steam and DL it all over, guess what? No luck, same lag problem... Geez!
I have noticed talking with him and I both in the moongamer server that his in is around 300's m/s while mine is around 2,000's to 3,500's m/s (we were comparing notes using net_graph 3). His ping was around 70-80 while mine was in the 40's. He was also specing me moving around and said it was smooth (just as I see it on my screen) with no apparent lag, yet everyone else was still 'teleporting' on my screen. WTH is going on?
*help me please!*
