Speaking of a G5, I was looking for one the other day, but all I could find in the store was something called a G7...I may get it instead, is it better than the G5?
G7 is good, though a little overpriced. And I believe it is newer than the G5, plus it's wireless.
Personally I haven't had any problems with it, battery wise, or in any other respect, and I've had it for about a year. If you get it, get the carbon version

G5 is the best gaming mouse in my opinion, USHA, dont install the software from CD as they do update it frequently, just go into logitech's website and download the latest set point

Over here we have the G5 2007 edition too (two buttons on the side instead of one).
There is even a G9 out now, but I don't think I will switch as it is quite pricey and will probably not 'outsmart' my G5.

G7 the way to go never had any trouble with it
2000 dpi and you can set 3 different dpi lvls and change them on ur G7
The G5 has the same features. The G7 is literally just a wireless G5.
