Comet, i tried the thompson sling last week, but couldn't get it to work. Tried various file locations, but no good. Could you post the exact install process/location please buddy.

When you open the .zip you will see three folders: materials, models, sound.

materials...

steam>steamapps>your folder name>day of defeat source>dod>material>models>weapons>v_models>thompson

models...

steam>steamapps>your folder name>day of defeat source>dod>models>weapons

Sound...

steam>steamapps>your folder name>day of defeat source>dod>sound>weapons

If you need to create a folder do so.

This worked for me.

Hmm, i'm sure thats the 1st thing i tried, but i'll have another shot . I love using the Tommy, and the empty sling bracket thing doth fill mine heart with sorrow...



edit: Thx Comet it worked. I must have tried to put the models folder in DOD>materials>models instead of DOD>models.
