Hi guys, the game cant find any server for a few days now, any of you have this problem?

We're always adding to our firewall, and it's possible you could be within a banned range. However, I checked the IP that you posted with and I did not see that range. Do you use another computer to play on?

Hi LIn, tnx, same computer and no changes made, it just stopped finding servers

Is this 64.120.56.203:9987 correct? if it is it doenst work either

Here is the masterlist from sk with all (i think so) Servers, ip and port.

64.120.56.204:14567 is the correct IP.

 

If you edit a BF1942 shortcut, you can enter straight into the server by right clicking the shortcut, then going to properties>Shortcut tab:

 

Type:  

 

"C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\BF1942.exe" +restart 1 +joinServer 64.120.56.204:14567

 

into the Target space.  Press Ok, and next time you run that shortcut, it will join you straight to the server.

"failed to connect to server" tnx for this list but no connetion whatsoever, could it be the Norton 360 protection? I already tried without the firewall

Question: Have you installed any new security Software (Firewall)? Or any new updates?

Do you have the Problem with all Servers or only with moon?

This is our Team speak IP, not the game server.

Lin, yes I noticed that, iam using 64.120.56.204 : 14567

 

I think the sees the moonserver (market was playing 20 min ago?) but connection failed

 

I ajusted the firewall setting and alowed bf1942 but nothing seems to work

If you have internet, firewall allowing game to send/receive info etc, the correct ip and you add the server in the game, it should work.

You said that now can see server but the connection failed, that is a step in good direction 50% solved, now Moonies gurus will for sure check if any restrictions four you, but I've saw you many times in game and you are more than ok so I guess is not that.

Reinstall all if you use cd version, is the last step to take, as per all patches etc, if you are origin version I don't know how it is.

I wish I had a good memory becasue when I came back I had the fustrating problem of seeing the servers but not connecting and I really cannot remember what I did to remedie it.

Find your BF1942 shortcut.  Right click and select Send To>Desktop.  Now right click on the newly created desktop shortcut and select Properties.  Where it says 'Target' under the 'Shortcut' Tab, delete what is there and copy and paste:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\BF1942.exe" +restart 1 +joinServer 64.120.56.204:14567

Click Ok and then rename the shortcut "Moongamers" or something.  Double clicking that shortcut should now load you straight into the Moongamers server.

 

The '+restart 1' part forces the game skip the BF1942 intro videos.

Ah, yes.  If you're running 32bit OS or if you've changed the default install location, you'll have to change this bit to match up with your BF1942 directory:

 

"C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\BF1942.exe"

Raucher, maybe i will get on teamspeak, for now iam afraid I have to reinstall the whole game, not looking forward to that, 

I played single player for 15 min yesterday, iam in serious detox......lol
